Premier Groundcare Machinery will offer this mower available at the End of October

A late-2015 SCAG Cheetah with the 48” commercial deck, Kawasaki FX691V engine and just 298 hours.

This particular machine also has an interesting history. It is an ex-council machine, previously assigned to work across housing association areas, and it still carries its original housing association identification label.

The Cheetah is going through the PGM workshop and will be supplied with a PGM Workshop Refurbishment Report, detailing works carried out.

Late-2015 Tiger Eye

This is a late-2015 Cheetah, giving it the later Tiger Eye Advanced Monitoring System.

The Cheetah was SCAG’s high-performance zero-turn platform, designed around commercial mowing with a combination of heavy-duty construction, high ground speed and manoeuvrability.

The 48” deck is a useful size for professional work where access and manoeuvrability matter, without moving up to the larger cutting widths found on some commercial machines.

⸻

Just 298 Hours

The machine is showing 298 hours.

For a 2015 commercial mower, that makes the hours one of the key features of this particular example.

The Kawasaki FX691V is a well-established commercial engine, and this machine gives the next owner the opportunity to put a genuine commercial SCAG to work without stepping straight into the much higher-hour machines commonly found on the used market.

⸻

Ex-Council Machine

This Cheetah has a traceable working background.

It was previously operated as an ex-council machine, was assigned to housing association areas.

The original housing association identification label is still present on the mower.

For anyone interested in machinery provenance, it’s a nice piece of the machine’s history and gives some context to its previous use.

⸻

PGM Refurbished

Before sale, the Cheetah is going through the PGM workshop for inspection and preparation.

Work carried out includes:

  • New blades
  • New belts
  • New battery
  • New rear tyre
  • Mechanical inspection
  • Engine and running checks
  • Deck inspection
  • Drive system checks
  • General preparation and detailing
  • Light refurbishment to the Deck side

A PGM Workshop Refurbishment Report is supplied with the machine, recording the preparation carried out.

⸻

Commercial 48” Zero-Turn

The 48” cutting width makes this Cheetah a practical option for a range of commercial and larger-property applications.

The zero-turn configuration allows the operator to work around trees, beds, buildings and other obstacles while reducing the amount of manoeuvring required at the end of each run.

For contractors and grounds staff, that combination of commercial build, 48” deck and zero-turn manoeuvrability is where the Cheetah makes sense.

⸻

Suitable For

This machine would suit a range of applications, including:

  • Grounds maintenance
  • Commercial mowing
  • Estates
  • Housing and property maintenance
  • Contractors
  • Large private properties
  • Organisations maintaining substantial grassed areas

Its previous council and housing association use also gives a good indication of the type of work the machine was originally intended for.
